In this project Borghi Assali has solved an important issue of Galicia with a special hydraulic axle. Galicia wanted to produce a crane with the same steering capacity as classic warehouse forklifts. The difficulty was to find an axle with high load capacity (4 tons) and a steering angle of around 100 °. Borghi Assali made it possible.

For the perfect functionality of a vehicle it is necessary to make precise calculations on the geometry of the steering. Our technical department carefully studies and calculates the geometry of the steering based on the wheel of the vehicle and the required steering performance. The steering angle of the axle is not the only issue.
