Gipo company has requested our cooperation for the realization of their crushers traction systems. For this project Borghi Assali has created special two-wheel electric drive wheels with different tons capacity. Given the type of crusher movement, our units do not have a steering system, only traction motors.

Innovation 1
In this project we created the two-wheeled unit with the highest load capacity ever produced by Borghi Assali. It is not the largest ever designed because we have already created two-wheel units with a capacity of up to 120 tons, but it is the largest actually produced. To achieve the required capacity, we had to use pneumatic wheels with a diameter of more than 1.80 meters. with the consequent total height of the motor wheel greater than 2 mt.
Innovation 2
In order to grant maximum protection of the electric motor and gearbox, a special protection grid has been designed to prevent mud, stones and debris from entering the cradle housing electric motors and gearboxes.
