The cooperation with MECFOR started when we were asked to create a special twin wheel for a high capacity AGV. Borghi Assali fully satisfied MECFOR supplying twin horizontal EBU610.000L motorized wheels. The Vulkollan 94 Sh tyres and the special configuration of the units ensured optimal load capacity with the minimum dimensions required by the customer. The power of the electric motors and the torque provided by the gearboxes guarantee the desired performance.

Innovation 1
With the EBo610.000L, the AGV can move in all directions. This capacity makes it possible to move the AGV in tight spaces, such as inside warehouses and port container areas.
Innovation 3
The Meco EBo.610.000L has both wheels equipped with a traction motor. This configuration was chosen in consideration of the fact that the AGV had to perform many maneuvers from a standstill. For this reason, in order not to excessively stress the steering components and not to cause a rapid consumption of Vulkollan tyres, it has been evaluated as necessary to be able to use the traction motors in reverse motion to facilitate the steering from a standstill.
