For Air Technical American company the classic 6 ton units were built, for the handling of RTGs used in the construction and port sector. Traction and steering are ensured by electric motors connected to planetary gearboxes. To ensure the complete mobility of the RTG, all wheels are equipped with a traction and steering system.

Considering the environment in which our EBo 715.000P units operate, it was essential to provide special treatments against salt spray for all the unpainted components. While for the paintable parts a special C5M painting was carried out to protect from the typical marine corrosion.

The design of the structures of these drive wheels has been made to ensure the required load capacity, as well as structural strength with high safety margins, minimizing weight and, consequently, cost.
